Four Asian-Influenced Webtoons to Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month (U.S.)

It's Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month here in the U.S., and we wanted to celebrate by sharing four Webtoons (Originals and Canvas) we love by creators of Asian descent and/or influenced by Asian cultures!

Whether we're bargaining away years to be better to those around us ("Mom, I'm Sorry," Drama, by MiTi, GUGU), falling for a stranger in another dimension ("Freaking Romance," Romance, by Snailords), accidentally convincing our crush we're his super-powered nemesis ("Villain with a Crush," Romance, by seyoon), or trying to atone for the mistakes of the past in a beautiful, underwater setting ("Fathoms of Atonement," CANVAS Fantasy, by Jayessart), follow us as we spotlight different creators and discuss some of our favorite aspects of these Webtoons.

Note: We acknowledge that many of the Webtoons we highlight here portray worlds influenced by the cultures of East Asia. We are actively seeking out and are open to recommendations for comics influenced by or portraying other parts of Asia and the Asian diaspora.
