Most of us who have been around children for any period of time have heard one of them angrily raise the complaint that something is “not fair!” From a very young age, we are inclined to expect that things should be “fair,” and anything that strays from this is a gross injustice that must be corrected. But looking around at our world, it becomes increasingly difficult to confidently claim that God is, indeed, fair. With suffering, pain and struggles all around, is God still “fair” through it all? Tune in to hear Peter and Suah’s conversation.

For many of us, our journey as Christians included praying some variation of the “sinner’s prayer” and accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior. At that point, we were most likely told by the person leading the prayer that we had officially been “saved.” But, oftentimes, we go through the daily roller coaster of life, and we are left wondering, “Did that prayer really work?” How can we know for sure that we have actually been saved? What if the prayer didn’t take that time? Should we pray it one more time—you know, just to be sure? Tune in to this week’s episode to hear PP and Suah’s conversation.
In the Christian faith, we often talk about God’s grace and how we can’t do anything apart from it. But what is it exactly? If God’s grace is sufficient, does that absolve us from putting in any effort in our walk with Jesus? How do the concepts of God’s grace and our “taking up our crosses and following Jesus” work together? Tune in to get our takes.

Can you be a Christian if you don’t believe that Jesus was the son of God? What’s so wrong about seeing Jesus as a really charismatic teacher with great ideas about how to live a moral life? Are Jesus’ death and resurrection really that central to Christian faith? Tune in to our discussion and Peter and Suah discuss their takes.
So it’s happening. PP and Suah finally decided to share their honest thoughts about Trump and what’s been happening with his administration in the first 100 days. Will this be the episode that finally pushes our listeners over the edge? Tune in to find out.
We’ve brought on a super special guest for this week's episode, Pastor Shirley Yang. We were so moved by Shirley’s honest and vulnerable sharing of her own experience with divorce, not only as a Christian, but also as a prominent church leader. Tune in to hear our conversation.
Nobody—and I mean NOBODY—likes receiving negative feedback. We always have time for people to adore their effusive praise on us, but any mention of criticism, and we’re out the door. But getting better at receiving feedback and constructive criticism, like anything else in life, requires practice. This week, PP and Suah discuss the art of giving and receiving feedback well.**There was a mention of a litter box being provided for students in a school district. This has since been proven to be false, and the pertaining portion of the conversation has been removed.**
Christians are often taught to live peaceful lives and make every effort to be at peace with those around them. Jesus himself even said “blessed are the peacemakers.” But what does peace actually mean in the biblical context, and how have Christians, though with good intentions, conflated peacekeeping with peacemaking? Tune in to get our takes.

This week, we have the lovely Karen Twinem back on the show. She shares with us her story of parenting her daughter, J, as she navigated through a variety of childhood psychiatric diagnoses that eventually led to her transitioning into a trans-man in adulthood. This is a raw and vulnerable conversation about Karen and her son and serves as a powerful reminder that, behind all the political and legal back-and-forth, there are real people that need to be seen.

It’s been a while since we’ve done an episode about everything and nothing. This week’s episode is a good, old episode about nothing where we chat about what’s been going on in our lives and what God has been revealing to us in our time with Him.
There has recently been a lot of talk pitting the idea of Social Justice against the Gospel. Is emphasizing social justice an abandonment of the central doctrine of Jesus’ teaching? Conversely, is the right way to think about social justice to simply use it as bait in our quest for evangelism and ultimate conversion? Is there a point to all the charity and outreach if it doesn’t lead to conversion? We discuss these questions in this week’s episode.
In this week’s episode, we invited our very special guest, Pastor Joshua Miller, to come and talk to us about his journey in ministry and what he’s learned along the way. Pastor Joshua has many years of experience leading worship and currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Ministries and Pastor of Weekend and Worship at Vineyard Columbus.
There are so many references in the bible about not sinning and living a righteous life, but what’s the point of it all if we’re going to heaven anyway? If our salvation is secure in Jesus, then why do we have to try so hard and “run with endurance?” Peter and Suah tackle these questions in this week’s episode.
We are officially wrapping up the year 2024 and looking forward to a brand new year! In this episode, we talk about the experiences that marked 2024 and discuss what we are most looking forward to in the upcoming new year.
The holidays can be the happiest and merriest time for some (Suah), but they can also be a difficult time for those who are grieving or experiencing pain and struggle. What should a Christian attitude be toward the “holiday blues?” Tune in to get our takes in this week’s episode.
We are very excited to have Karen Twinem as our special guest on this week’s episode. Suah met Karen through her church small group. Karen’s unique perspective on the topic of mental illness and her compassion and wisdom with respect to those who struggle with mental health led Suah to invite her on the podcast. Also, she is SO FUNNY! We hope you will enjoy this conversation as much as we did.
Well, the heated 2024 election has finally come to an end, and there are varying thoughts and feelings from both camps. In this week’s episode, Peter and Suah share their own responses and thoughts about the election results.
