EPISODE 6: Justice in Policing with Raaheela Ahmed

In the July 2020 edition of We the (Young) People, Alana and Michelle interview Prince George's County School Board Member Raaheela Ahmed, who discusses her thoughts and actions in the wake of the murders of George Floyd and other unarmed young Black men and women, and discusses her work to remove police officers from schools. Michelle imparts some YEO-provided advice to our audience about the importance of taking breaks.

Next month, we'll be discussing policy relating to going back to school in the wake of COVID-19 and advice about dealing with constituents worried about going back-to-school and how to navigate this new world.
