On this special episode I’m joined by an incredibly talented south African hip hop artist, VenusRaps. She is known for her lyrical prowess that has seen her being feature on Slikour on Life’s Hot on the Streets as part of the artists to look out for and she delivered an unforgettable freestyle on Channel O’s Freestyle Friday presented by Stogie T.

VenusRaps takes us through her experience as part of the Sports Scene Put Me On Rap competition, the process of making her first EP titled Heir & what she wished she could have done better on the project and also lets us in on what being an independent artist means and how you can make it work for you.
