Dear WLS

Joe E - Hey WLS crew, I am moving from a suppressor friendly state to a none suppressor friendly state. I have the option of installing a safe at a family members property that is still in a suppressor friendly state and leaving it there. So long as I am the only one that knows the access code to the safe will this be okay? Joe No Notes

Rusty S - In a fight for your life, would you rather have a rifle chambered in a pistol cartridge or a pistol chambered in a rifle cartridge? No pistol braces or buffer tubes that can be shouldered are allowed on the pistol.

Mr. NiceGuy W - If you were the devil, what would you offer your cast members in exchange for their soul? Jeremy, I would offer to pay off his range and give him a lifetime supply of ranch Aaron I would offer clear skin, free of psoriasis, a toilet capable of handling apples and good luck Nick would be easy. A healthy and a proper functioning digestive system. Savage I would offer, hair, height and a few Bitcoin. Shawn would have to be weight-loss without exercise or Ozempic, and wrinkly balls

Jordan S - Hey guys, TL/DR- Supressors expensive. What next gUuDeR muzzle device? I've had my 1st AR for a couple years now (basic flat-top PSA) & interested in changing out the cheap A2 birdcage, that everybody seems to hate. Watched some YT. They all start w/ the birdcage. 3-4 prong flash hider or hider/comps. Suppressor adapters & then whatever suppressors they have. All (except the wHisper pickles) seem to be +/- on recoil mitigation vs flash suppression and they end up saying ""Just get a suppressor"". Yeah, no shit. They are THE best muzzle device. I don't see myself getting into suppressor money soon, so not really worried about that. Jusy looking into something different. Use case is paper punching, but aiming for accuracy. Nothing high speed. I like the open prong FHs (purely off esthetics). Not "jazzed" about the concussion that comes (Hehe) with compensators, but haven't ruled them out. Even thought about a flash can, because reasons, ya know. It's not like the paper/cardboard targets are going to be shooting back. Obviously NODS aren't in the scenario either. Whatcha think? Thanks for getting me through the work week on Spotify. No notes.

Dick Beelong - I have an autistic question for y'all even though Jerombé will probably hate on me for it. I'm currently running an AEMS on an ADM NV mount on my suppressed 11.5"" AR15. I obviously have my light and laser up front. But I got a good deal on a T1/T2 GBRS Hydra mount and it has me curious. Should I swap over to a t1/t2 style dot and move the laser back or just not be a bitch and leave it as is with a ton of weight upfront? Thank you for your time and Aaron, stop being racist. We all saw what you did with those chicken & duck eggs. #nonotesborthers

Dan N - Hey guys, I've been fucking with guns for a while. Building and fixing everything I can. But in an ever present need to learn more, I want expand my knowledge. So, what are your favorite gunsmithing style books? I love schematics books, and just like my firearms,

P.S.....shawn....you're welcome for adding the ""e"" tpy username so jeremy doesn't mispronounce it lmao.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from Mike H - Despite the cast having the average reading level of a Marine lance corporal, this is the best book review podcast I've ever listened to. The cast gives few recommendations, but any books they recommend are definitely worth your time.

P.S. Aaron's bringing the average down, not everyone's that illiterate

Dear WLS

A-in-your-face. WLS is life - Long story short, I had a medical event while on vacation in Mexico and the care there sucked! (I do not recommend) A med kit wouldn't have helped my situation much but it got me thinking. In the states when I travel via vehicle, I always have at least one pretty stocked med kit on me. But I have never thought to take a minimum of supplies when I fly on vacation or when I travel to other countries. What things would you recommend in a travel kit, at a minimum? Thinking that you dont have your vehicle, might be in another country, and may have restrictions on the things you bring? I am thinking a small minimum kit of a couple essentials would be smart... #no_notes

Sean M - Suppressor Mount Question, I'm putting together a BRN180 with an 10.5" 5.56 barrel and have a Griffin GP7 ready to go. Being that it will need a thread adapter (from 1/2-28 to 5/8-24) would it be better to pin and weld or silver solder that setup?

A-ARONS lost foot - I recently bought my first lever action gun and I don't know to go Red Dot route or if I should go lpbo route. I bought a Marlin 1895 BL and 4570 and in terms of use case, it's going to be arranged toy. Could be used for hunting for the down the road, but possibility is open. with the cast do a red dot or lpvo and just thoughts of why they went with that decision if they were me? Thanks my dudes

Alex W - I've been listening to this podcast every week for 5 years. How the fuck did I not know that Shawn and Jeremy play DnD??

Dane G - Hello wls. First off love the show guys. Looking at starting a home ffl. Was thinking of using rocketffl to get started. I think Shawn used them to get started and was wondering the process of it. I know you use an office space, would you recommend that so my home address isn’t public? Feel like that’s putting a huge target on my home. Thanks guys. Ps. If I was gay I’d suck your titties Shawn.

Dutch Walker - My Mitchell Defense story. Roughly a year ago, I picked up a Mitchell Defense rifle in 6 ARC. I was excited when they started offering this caliber, especially after hearing high praise from Shawn and Nick. An interview with Nathan Mitchell, the company’s founder, sealed the deal, and I ordered one right away.First Impressions out of the box, the rifle looked fantastic, the components were of high quality and I was eager to take it to the range. The rifle ran smoothly, cycling perfectly with or without a suppressor. But when I tested its accuracy my groups at 100 yards were consistently over 3 inches, no matter the ammo. To make sure it wasn’t me, I shot other ARs, including another in 6 ARC, and got sub-MOA groups. I contacted Mitchell Defense, and Nathan himself called me to talk through the issue. He immediately sent an RMA for the upper. His team wasn’t satisfied with its performance either, so they upgraded me to a Proof carbon fiber barrel at no extra cost—a serious step up. Unfortunately, the new barrel had the same problem. I’d get three shots grouped tightly, but two would stray 2-3 inches in random directions. I sent Nathan photos of my groups, and he replied with some troubleshooting tips. Sometime later, when I emailed him to let him know I was heading to the range to try his suggestions,

Dear WLS

Chris L - Hey Fellas, I'm looking for a company that can convert my Sandman S to a HUB mount. This thing has been back to Dead Air twice for warranty after launching from various hosts, although they clean it up really well and claim to EDM the adapter, the problem persists. Ecco Machine offered this service but has recently stopped since they are busy manufacturing their own cans. Thanks.Notes- Pick one.A - Hope to run into you guys at GOALS this year.B - Nice meeting everyone except Aaron at GOALS! Are his hands always that sweaty?

Beau M - As I’m sure you know, we have different tools for different things. Drills, saws, screwdrivers, etc. I’m curious which of you view your guns as specific tools for different purposes? Such as a Tavor for home or urban defense, AR for Antifa crowd control, SBR for a car, etc. Or do you tend to specifically lean towards using one tool to cover all the jobs? Oh and Jeremy, regarding your comment a few weeks ago about “anyone that goes to therapy is either a pussy or a woman.” Fuck you and any other fucking fuck that fucking repeats that fucking lie you fucking fuck faced fuck. Yours Truly, Beau

Pho Kyu - What locking piece do I need to run an mp5 Clone suppressed?

Totally not Rodin. Seriously, this isn't Rodin - Hey guys. First time listener, long time caller here. If you could full-auto just one single platform, which would it be and why?

Myles Long-Johnson - Esteemed gentlemans, Medical question for Shawn. Sir, can you speak your personal words of smartness on when wound packing of an extremity is appropriate versus applying a tourniquet or a pressure dressing? Are wound packing and applying a tourniquet either/or choices or are there wound packing + tourniquet scenarios? I understand that junctional wounds present a special set of considerations. I'm looking more for insight on limbs from shoulder and hip down. Yours in ignorance, Myles Long-Johnson

Zachary V - Hey cunts, looking to buy a j frame for pocket carry. Would like something that I can just stick in my pocket when I need to run down the street or out to the pole barn. I know smith and Ruger have their options with the LCR and 642 but what are the pros and cons of each brand? I am not a revolver guy so I don’t know what to look for. Side note based on small revolver recommendations what would be the bigger revolver recommendations so I can get more antiquated with the platform?

Nick - What effect does bullet weight have on recoil for a 9mm? More specifically would a heavier bullet i.e., a 147 grain or heavier reduce recoil as opposed to a standard 115 grain?

Tactical Gear Gossip: Insights and Updates

A correction facility recently published a photo of an inmate sewing tactical gear, which was quickly removed but saved by users. This has sparked discussions regarding the use of prisoner labor by prominent tactical gear brands like Ferro Concepts, raising concerns about quality control and ethical implications. The incident has led to mixed reactions within the gun community, with some questioning the morality of using low-cost inmate labor while others argue it is a legal and competitive strategy to produce quality products.

Dear WLS

Brent T - Hi. Illinois has now allowed straight-walled cartridges for deer hunting. My son and I are debating on a 350 ledgend or a 450 Bushmaster. It does have to be single shot. A removable mag is acceptable. We won’t be shooting much more than 200 yards. Just want your thoughts on these two rounds and suggestions on rifles. I’m not a poor but not rich.

DukeOfCrude - Hey fam,I’d like to have your input on something. There is a Vietnam-era amphibious 8x8 (LTV Aerospace Kidd) that’s for sale down the road, and I've been thinking about selling some guns to go make an offer on it. (The old lady is a widow and won’t take trade)The question is, would you go sell some non-essential guns (range toys) for something non-gun related? My kids are 5 and 3, and I want to raise them around guns and shooting. Between my Dad and I, we have guns so that everyone has- 1. 22 rifle 2. 22 pistol 3. A intermediate caliber hunting rifle 4. Waterfowl shotgun 5. Upland bird shotgun 6. CcW Semi-auto pistol 7. A rifle the goverment would frown upon 8. A PCC 9. An heirloom pieceThe ones I would sell would come from outside of this list, but includes some fun range toys that I probably won’t be able to find again. Do any of you have regrets from selling guns, or do you think this is a good idea in that it’s a different hobby I can enjoy with my kids while they are little? I’d probably take it trail riding, camping, and hunting mostly. Appreciate your thoughts and thanks for the great content!Duke

Kyle B - Where do you guys get your medical supplies i.e., amoxicillin and other Rx-style medications? Thank you.

Mike B - Why Rost Martin? I think I missed your usual explanation about why you chose to work with them. Just curious what makes them stand out if you’re partnering with them?

Denny E - I've been doing Jiu Jitsu for about 6 months now, and I have become a deadly weapon. Don't believe me? Ask the 13 year old I beat up today. Which brings me to my question. Does Second Call Defense cover these hands?

Huggmuffin Actual - Dearest Esteemed Gentlemen-Range Safety Officers are a critical part of any public shooting range, especially when new shooters are involved. What are some of the best and worst traits you've seen an RSO exhibit?Hugs, HugMuffin *** NO NOTES ***"

Robert S - Hi guys I love the podcast. Just wondering what your thoughts on best red dot for a Glock 43x. I want one where the battery is not on the bottom. Thanks for the input.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - from PokerFace - The cast of We Like Shooting are a gamey bunch, both in odor and what the do in their spare time. As we sit around the poker table of WLS how would we equate each cast member to a hand of Poker, 5 card stud of course because these guys are all about 5 studs.

First we have Aaron, never first in many things but here we compare him to a Full House, Queens over Jacks, because if anything we know he keeps his house full and is jack'n it to queens.

Next is the venerable Nick Lynch. Of course he is a Straight Flush. A solid cast member who brings a lot to the table,

Dear WLS

Follow-up from last week-

(Original Question) I’ve been thinking about signing up for Second Call Defense. I probably will no matter the answer to this question but just had this thought and wanted to see what the response is. Does SCD cover you for other firearm related incidents that don’t involve self defense? For example, carrying a gun in a commie state like if I vacationed to New York or Illinois? Slightly more extreme situation, do they help protect me if I’m found to be in possession of some NFA items without the proper paperwork? If I have the basic plan and someone in my household uses one of my guns to defend against an intruder and I’m not home, do they help with that if I own the home and gun? Are there specific circumstances that they blatantly say they don’t cover or help with outside of the “I’m obviously completely in the wrong, misused a firearm, and am completely retarded” scenarios? You guys rock. No notes.

Additional Info From Mitch C:

I am the one that had the question about Second Call Defense and wanted to provide a little more clarity to what I was asking. When I heard you read it, I realized it did sound pretty retarded basically asking if I blatantly commit a felony will they protect me. That’s not what I meant, Jeremy.

The NFA part in my question was in reference to if I had my legally owned can out at the range and for whatever reason I don’t have a copy of my tax stamp on me. Or SBR. Or if there is a fudd agent that believes I have an unregistered SBR but it’s really an AOW because my overall length is greater than 26”. I’m not asking if I just go ahead and drill a third hole on a Wednesday night if they will defend me in court. I just want to know if they will cover me against a power hungry, incompetent ATF agent or like I said earlier, a lapse in judgement where I grab the wrong range bag that doesn’t have the tax stamp for my legally owned suppressor and my luck is so terrible that I cross an ATF check point at the range. Exaggerated and most likely not to happen but just curious.

The conceal carry in a bad state scenario is if I’m traveling from Ohio to Iowa and have to pass through Illinois. I believe the laws have changed to allow me to carry as long as I don’t have plans to stay in Illinois but please correct me if I’m wrong on that. But if it’s riot season and get caught up in a situation where I have to use it to protect myself, will SCD still cover me? Again, I know specific and it’s still breaking the law, to agree with Jeremy, but will SCD still fight for my right to self protection in that state? And I don’t even mean a Rittenhouse scenario, I mean I stop at a gas station to fill up and it just so happens to be wrong station at wrong time. I know, I know… be aware of surroundings and don’t put yourself in those situations but on a drive I’ve never taken before to a place I’ve never before and it’s just a stop for gas, who knows what’s off that exit. Very specific, I know, but just trying to paint a picture.

Foxtrot Mike clear up - Shawn, the RMb has some reciprocating mass, and a surprisingly complex design that affects recoil in 2 ways. ,When the mass of a pcc moves all the way rearward and the buffer smacks the end of the buffer tube, there is a mechanism that compresses with a heavy weight spring, and inside the buffer, it terminates against a high durometer urethane puck inside the buffer.,For the other end of the recoil stroke, there is reciprocating mass that helps keep the bolt in battery, and is there to overcome bolt bounce. As you add mass (its 9.5 ozs so lil on heavy side), recoil goes down, at the cost of bolt bounce.,I'd love to send you all a couple samples if you want to check them out? ,RMB:,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/13d43336-a442-4018-837f-c269dde4cede,Maybe a VFM-9 upper (on sale now for $239)?,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/0bd2ba31-3579-4569-b070-e8b453d1b778,https://store.fm-products.com/products/fm-products-5397-1463b865-bbbc-4aed-be84-60f5c638509d,This is new, our Foldyboi (on sale now for $399 w RMB buffer):,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/fddc398f-49b3-41ef-9f84-8de727349b77,https://store.fm-products.com/products/fm-products-foldyboi-lwr-rmb-5397

Dear WLS

Scott G - A while ago you guys ( ok just Shawn) promised that you would let us know why you parted ways with sponsors. The one that immediately comes to mind is the target company you were pimping last year ( or were they pimping you? ). How about a sponsor update (it is also how we can tell when your core group of gun industry professionals get new jobs lol). Love the show keep it up.

Jerermy's Cousin - Since you guys talked about what nuts you guys like in your mouth. What meat sticks do you guys like? Ps I won’t say anything Jeremy wink wink.

Zachary V - Bought a psa 16 inch upper with a front sight post and basic magpul furniture when slightly inebriated. Didn’t really need it but now that I have it I’m trying to set it up as a cheap loaner rifle. Looking to keep the cost low but what red dot, sling and light would you put on it?

Mitch Not Bitch - I’ve been thinking about signing up for Second Call Defense. I probably will no matter the answer to this question but just had this thought and wanted to see what the response is. Jared P - Self-defense question. I’m a trucker and stopped at the Battle Creek Michigan rest stop the other week to take a fat dump, the dude in the stall next to me put his foot underneath my stall and started rubbing my foot so I’m pretty sure he wanted to fuck but I could be wrong, I had to yell at him to get lost! Could I have used lethal self-defense if he tried to attack me with his wiener? What would the cast do if they were in my shoes, I wasn’t carrying cause I run a Chicago route, all I had was a razor-sharp knife

Dear WLS

Jesse K - Hello gentlemen, and......Aaron. I recently finished up my 6arc build and am deciding what optic to go with. I won't be hiking miles in since I live in the land of cheese, but will have the opportunity to hunt put to 400 ish and shoot out to 600. Usually, I tend to go with more magnification than needed for targets to identify animals better. Do I go with something like the Warhawk FFP in a 3-18/4-20? Wait for Gideon to come out with something a little lower than their 5-25? Any other options you think would pose a better look-see at?

Andrew M - Hello, gentlemen. Apparently, I am a glutton for punishment and I like to buy guns they haven’t made ammo for in 100 years. I have a pristine Winchester 1907 and a Webley Mark 1 navy self-loading pistol. I would love to shoot these two, but I cannot source 351WSL or 455 Webley automatic. I’ve exhausted every gun show and old-timers ammo collection. Besides machining down different caliber casings to make my ow,n do you have any idea where I can find this stuff? P.s Jeremy is not a cunt he adds 10 cool guy points to the show

screwed by sig - Based on recent events I don’t feel comfortable carrying any of my P-320’s. This saddens me because they fit my hand well and I shoot them well. I have other similar guns that are either not comfortable in my hand and/or I don’t shoot them well. These include Glocks, Smith & Wesson M&P's, and a Sig P-365. I have three Glocks and hate them all.I’m looking for a reliable replacement that closely matches the P-320’s ergonomics, performance, and feel. Cost is not a primary concern within reason, but I’d prefer to avoid overspending unnecessarily. Could you recommend a suitable alternative that might meet my needs?Lots of NOTES.

The Toe Truck - Long story short….what is your ideal hog/coyote set up? I’m looking to build my next AR and want something for pests and to set up with NV or thermals. What caliber do you choose? What optic? What suppressor? And any other details that you might add to it. I already have a 300blackout, 5.56, .22, and .350 legend. Not opposed to a duplicate caliber but wanted your opinions.

No Notes - No notes. What kind of. No notes. Truck guns. No notes. Do you carry on a long road trip? No notes.

Mike Oxlong - I’m building a pistol caliber, umm, a pistol caliber pistol, I guess. I’m using a standard AR lower, and need a Glock mag adapter. My question is how much one should I get? Which one is best quality, or doesn’t it matter? Ok that’s two questions. Mucho Garcias, yes, Garcias. No notes.

Germany Pozderac - Youtube forces creators to neuter the content they make when building and modifying firearms. It’s becoming increasingly more difficult to find basic, how-to instructorials. Are there any channels here on Rumble that are making tutorial videos...

Dear WLS

Duke Of Crude - Hey fam, I’m needing some help with a build. I have a sight mark wraith 4K mini on a keltec RFB. I need to mount some kind of IR flashlight to help with night shooting on the farm. What recommendations would you have for an IR flashlight with a mount? The keltec RFB is kind of limited on rail space and the top rail is getting a little crowded with the digital optic and an offset red dot I am using for faster shooting in daytime. Mostly this rifle will be used for night time hog hunting or night time training. Thanks for your help!Duke

Ballpark Frank - Dear Jeremy, When you’re giving savage backshots. Do you slap the back of his head as a sign of dominance or do you mistake it for his ass? #no notes

Steven S - How do you guys adjust the retention on your BRC holsters. I received a BRC holster as a gift. The retention was a loose so I contacted them to have it adjusted. I just got it back today and the damn thing is so tight I cannot remove my gun from the holster without tapping the holster with something like a hammer. I'm a over sending it in again and I'm just trying to fix it myself. Should I heat it up in the oven and try to stretch it while it's warm?

Mike C - This question is pure curiosity. Do any of you have experience with the Primary Weapons ratchet lock castle nut and end plate, and would you buy/use it? I know it's twice as much as a regular end plate and castle nut set, but would laziness justify the additional cost? I can't wait for Jeremy's rant on how this is stupid.

Peter J - Living in commie Washington, my son turned 21 and looking at strictly range guns. What would be the most fun type of gun in your opinion for him to get?

Steve B - Every now and then I get the urge to carry a revolver, as a backup or a quick run to the store gun. Seems like the Smith and Wesson 642 is a gold standard in that field but part of me likes the idea of a shrouded hammer in the Smith 638. Or am I going the wrong route altogether and should consider the Ruger LCR in 9mm over 38 special for a snub nose. Cast of WLS, what say you?

Dear WLS

Jakey Poo - You guys are all gay. Well, not you Shawn. Not you Jeremy. Not you Nick. Not really Savage either. Anyway... I had a thought the other day. Has there ever been or what do you think about a recoil suppression device, similar to a dead blow hammer. Some sort of sand filled cavity that would reciprocate more softly? I don't know, more of a concept idea. Interesting to think about I guess. P.s.

Cumin Ciderbox - Double tap 404, in regards to the name/fruit orange- The color used to be called something else in English, a close conjugate of the Spanish ‘Naranja”. The fruit was already “orange” when the two became so closely linked that people just used the fruit to refer to the color. Think “Lime Green” every time someone refers to anything green to the point people forget the word “green”. That’s what happened to orange. As for a question- how do you like your eggs? And no Aaron, ‘fertilized’ is not an option.

Mark Mark - What is the ideal set up for 2 ARs? If you could only have 2 ARs (chambered in 5.56) what would their barrel lengths, stocks and sights/optic set up be?

Bigus Dickus - Who is the cartoon village person that recently joined your show, and what kind of job keeps him from showing real video on a podcast? Is it an ATF plant? Collecting viewer info for their suspicious persons list? Also, what happened to that clean-shaved cast member "savage1r"? You know, that guy seen in the lower left on episode 544 for example?P.S. Ruger/Marlin 1894 Trapper in .44 or .357?Notes, none

I've always wondered - Who's the brunette climbing up Shawn's leg in your podcast thumbnail? Is her name Eva? Notes- Shawn, put your spotted-dick back in your pants on that thumbnail!

Roger B - How much is too much for a rifle stock?? I’m looking for a stock for my CZ BREN2 and the options are limited, HAGA defense and A3 teamed up and made this awesome stock but it’s $350 but I think it’s pretty nice but idk if it’s 350+shipping nice. Here is the link and no Aaron it’s not gay porn hagadefense.com/hda3-stock-brace-for-Bren-2/

ESQUE MT - I have a Scar 16s and a Sig 516. Have weeded out some "cheap" AR builds and kept these because of the piston system, ie; reliability/ less carbon build-up. On a recent show someone brought piston AR's and there was conflicting advice!! Should I not put as much stock in these two as I have been?

Dear WLS

John M - Gentlemen, Who do you recommend to port a barrel and a slide? I don't want to add a Ramjet to my gun because of the extra length (plus i already have one on my G45). I like the idea of the Glock 19c, but its a Gen 3 and no optic cut. What is your opinion on this? Thanks!

Hunter D - What closed emitter sight would you guys put on a Springfield prodigy 4.25” ? If this gun continues to pass my testing I’d like to use it in my EDC rotation. I’m open to options and not stuck on any brand. Budget is not a big concern but I’d say under $750 for sure and that should get me a lot of options. Hell I’m even open to open emitter but really want to try a closed emitter for this gun. Thank you in advance for any insight you guys can provide. #aaronisacunt #jeremyisNOTacunt #WLSISLIFE

Aiden S - I don’t know if I’ve ever heard y’all directly answer this question. It’s been talked about indirectly, but I don’t think it’s ever been posed to you like thisWhen should a gun owner lose their gun rights—if ever? Should it be only while they’re serving a sentence? Does that include everything from jail time to community service, or even while they’re still paying off a fine? Or should their rights remain suspended beyond that period? And should it matter whether the offense was violent or non-violent when they’re released from prison or done serving their sentence?

A-in-your-face S - Last year I picked up a Desert Eagle. I bought it on a whim, because it was an awesome price. And damn, if it isnt hella fun to shoot. I would like to try and pig hunt with it. What optic, red dot, prism, etc. would yall recommend? I plan to the typical barrel rail mount. #NoNotes

Jimmy Jimmy - Hey guys, I’m following up on a prior question about an extractor issue on an AR10 (episode 402, timestamp 1440-2122). I appreciate most of your suggestions and have the following results -contact the manufacturer *Unfortunately, this is not an option. I bought the BCG a while back but only recently tested it. Lesson learned. -check extractor spring & o-rings *All are present and appear identical. -check headspace by measuring bolt face to front of bolt & compare original to new. *Identical +/- .002”. Not enough difference to make a difference. -dump some hot wax in there and make a mold of each one to see if they’re the same *Good idea, Aaron, but I’ll pass. -put some JB Weld in there *Another great idea from Aaron. No, thanks. -test new bolt in old carrier *Same issue. -test old extractor in new bolt & carrier *Works! -compare extractors side by side *The failing extractor hook feels “sharper”. Maybe someday I’ll look into modifying the misshapen extractor. Honestly, that’s probably not going to happen. Final solution, I ordered a JP Enterprises enhanced extractor and I have full confidence it will work.

Montana Takes Aim: Shooting Down Hawaii's Latest Gun Control Nonsense

Montana's Attorney General is spearheading a coalition challenging Hawaii's new ban on firearms in so-called 'sensitive' places. This move underscores a growing resistance among pro-Second Amendment advocates against perceived overreach in gun control laws, highlighting a commitment to protect rights amid increasing regulations. Gun enthusiasts are likely to view this development as a reaffirmation of their liberties, further fueling the fight against restrictions on lawful firearm ownership.

Budget Cuts for the Bureau: Trump Takes Aim at ATF Funding

Trump's FY 2026 budget proposal includes a $468 million funding cut for the ATF, which may impact the agency's operations and regulation of firearms. This reduction is likely to be welcomed by the gun community, as it reflects a trend toward less federal oversight and potential easing of gun control measures.

Oops! Leftists’ Lies About Guns Just Went Up in Smoke

A recent development has led to a halt in the left's narrative labeling guns as the leading cause of childhood deaths, which could impact the ongoing gun control debate. This shift may cause discomfort among gun control advocates who rely on such claims to justify their position, while potentially reinforcing support for the Second Amendment among gun enthusiasts.
