We Didn't Know How Good We Had It: James - Mutes

Hello everyone and welcome to another episode of We Didn't Know How Good We Had It. This week I had the pleasure of catching up with James of Birmingham shoegaze/post-punk/ new wave outfit MUTES.

James has always been one of the most passionate musicians I have had the pleasure of knowing, and in this episode we dive into his eclectic selection head first. I was way in over my head as James' knowledge on these bands stretched way further than any internet research can go, it comes from the sheer love and admiration he has for the artists, and it's an incredibly endearing thing to hear.

MUTES new album "Dreams of Being Cornered" is out on FOMA now from this link -

As always, I hope you enjoy, and support your local bands and venues!
