Knowledge, experience, and skill are undoubtedly the most important qualities a doctor needs to possess. As is compassion. But rarely are all these four found in a single individual. This is why Dr. P.K. Grant belongs to such a rare breed of doctors. Having carried the mantle of Chief Cardiologist and Chairman of Cardiovascular Services at the Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, for 30 years now, he is one of the most experienced specialists in his field. Under his able leadership, the Ruby Hall Cardiac Centre has emerged as the premier institute providing cardiac care in India.
Dr. Grant holds a slew of fellowships from some of the most prestigious establishments in the world, including the American College of Cardiology, and the Royal Society of Medicine, UK, among others.But, of his own admission, these are not his greatest achievements. It is providing quality healthcare to all strata of our society, including the less fortunate, that Dr.Parvez Grant considers his greatest fulfilment. To that end, the Ruby Hall Clinic has performed numerous heart surgeries practically free of cost.

In the year 2015, Grant Medical Foundation spent over Rs. 12 crores on free treatment for the underprivileged. In recognition of his services to the medical field, Dr. P.K. Grant has been conferred a number of honours, including 3 national awards (Rashtriya Samman Award, Manibhai Desai Rashtraseva Award,Lions Yuva Seva Ratna Award).
With this very intent of providing excellence in healthcare for all strata of society, the Ruby Hall Clinic runs 3 hospitals within Pune, 24 diagnostic centres across Maharashtra and one in Belgaum, and many more on the anvil. Validation of this pursuit has come from far and wide, including the American College of Cardiology, USA, recognising it as a Centre of Excellence.
