Chickoy Pura is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and songwriter of Filipino rock band, The Jerks. Formed in 1977, the Jerks are responsible for two major Filipino rock anthems. We talk about his origins as a folk singer and how he opened for Pepe Smith which in turn inspired him to form a band. We also talk about political issues that are affecting the world at present.
