Great TV is art. It surprises, thrills, delights, and moves us. It can reaffirm what we know to be true—or expand our world. Wax Episodic is for you if you don’t just watch great TV—you want to immerse yourself in it and connect with other fans.
Hosted by longtime TV podcaster Jason Cabassi (The ’Cast of Us, Welcome to the White Lotus) and friends, Wax Episodic takes on one standout, story-rich series at a time. With sharp insight, genuine reactions, and a mix of analysis and fun, we break it all down episode by episode—including a listener feedback segment where your voices become part of the conversation.
We started with Alien: Earth and are now getting into Fallout, with Vince Gilligan’s Pluribus coming soon—one unforgettable conversation after another.

Here we go: Fallout! This retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic extravaganza is a collision of humor and terror, charm and gore, propriety and depravity, mystery and adventure, and so much more. It’s smartly written, extravagantly produced, and we think the casting is perfect, with Ella Purnell as our uber-plucky hero, and Walton Goggins as our sassy, ghoulish foil.
I’m joined by Kasi and Wendy to talk out this first episode, which manages to be entertaining while dropping a ton of detail about this world. Join us as we talk it out!
Next up: Fallout S1E2 “The Target”. Let us know your thoughts!

Don’t know what Discord is? It’s kind of like a chat forum, our own little private Podcastica space to talk about Fallout, Alien: Earth, other shows, and whatever else we want. It’s free, and it’s fun. And Randy is in there.
