In life, grief must occur, but it is what we do with it that matters.
“And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed. We can be. Be and be better. For they existed.”
-Maya Angelou
My amazing brother selected the episode. In the new year, a lot of people are going to the gym, buying vitamins, and doing a lot of other things, but after such a great start, things might not go as planned.
As the new year continues, your consistency may vary and waver, but that's okay. Remain gentle with yourself.
Every year, you make a resolution to change yourself. This year, make a resolution to be yourself.- Unknown
It breaks my heart to record an episode with such a title, but the reality is that there needs to be change.
The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude' -Oprah Winfrey.
While this is a long one, I had to end the year with my recap. Thank you to all listeners, and I do hope 2023 was well to you, or at least eye-opening.

The idea of there are many fish in the sea is such an overplayed statement. How many of us have really thought about what we attract and how much our energy plays in that attraction.
Every thought has a frequency. Thoughts send out a magnetic energy.'

To think I saw something?
No...
The idea of being breadcrumbed to many may seem like such a sad moment in their life, but let's take the opportunity to reflect on what you provided. Many times when something ends the blame game begins, we try to find the lesson in the situation(ship). Sometimes, there is no one to blame and no lesson learned in those cases look inward.
Always look for the signs, and signals.

With each moment in this country I must be honest about the climate and how it continues to influence a changing culture. I truly hope there is a change but it must start with us.

To think that in the 21st Century there is so much division within a society is saddening. We need to do better in 2023.

As each year ends we are granted an opportunity to reflect while also seeing how our future can improve.
What are we bringing into the new year?
What is being left behind?
Why did this happen?
How has this impacted me?
So much more nevertheless, as one year goes God grants us another what can we do different and what can we do the same?

In life we all have loses and it's how we choose to deal with those losses that impacts our life. Sometimes, the pain really takes a toll on us and in those moments it's always good to remember someone is here for you. This week's podcast tackles my grief journey over the last 10 years and how it has impacted my life for better and for worse.
Thank you for coming along this journey with me.

With the rise in crime not only in my home country but all over the world it leaves us with the question.
"Why?"
“For the powerful, crimes are those that others commit.”
― Noam Chomsky,
In life there is so much pressure put us us from ourselves and others as we age. It has left the burning question in my mind over the years. "Am I doing Enough?", "What more can I do". I think that we are working on it and that work never ends but that doesn't mean we aren't doing enough. So never give up and even though a few podcast ago I would have disagreed with this point "Be Persistent" especially when it comes to our own growth.

In life we are faced with different trials, for the past 6/8 weeks I returned to university in my onward pursuit to knowledge. I had the opportunity to further my education in the Visual and Performing Arts field and for a limited time this podcast will be available as I briefly discuss my experiences. So sit back and relax.
Thank you to Mr. Largen, Mr. Khan, Ms. Davis and Ms. Johnson
For each of you are a channel of knowledge and now words can express how greatly I am for even a few hours of our time.
In returning to the wonderful platform, I thought how will I do it? A grant gesture? a teaser? No, I chose to do it in the simplest way possible. The way I left is the way I would return.
Thank you to all the listener for your continued support.

In many moments some persons aren't just mean, they're disrespectful. Growing up I was always told to "Stay out big people business" and "Never disrespect your elders". And as a child I always questioned why, nit because I wanted to be disrespectful but why was it ok for others to be towards me and I just simple stood there and took it. As a grew older and began to form my our personality and identity I saw the cracks within many statements that were made to me as a child with emphasis of "Holding your tongue".
Now that I am an adult, there have been many instances where I've held my tongue in moments of utter disrespect but I'm learning the respect can only be given to those who reciprocate such.
“Staying silent is like a slow growing cancer to the soul and a trait of a true coward. There is nothing intelligent about not standing up for yourself. You may not win every battle. However, everyone will at least know what you stood for—YOU.”
