There's been a lot of build up to G's final race and, well, he nearly missed it. A plane mechanical and a thunder storm conspired to stop him travelling to Suffolk until 1am last night, but he got there. Thank the lord for that. We'd have had to rip up some big old Watts Occurring plans. Pre-Tour de France, a lot of names were thrown around for the top 10. Not many lists had Scotsman Oscar Onley on them. And yet the 22 year old from Kelso enjoyed a breakthrough ride at the world's biggest race. Fourth place overall, with a remarkable eight top-10 finishes, Oscar announced himself on the biggest stage and finished just a minute off the podium.
