You Just Can’t Eclipse these Positive Vibes
Don’t Look Straight at the Sun! Just one of the positive tips Karrie Beth Little shares with the listening audience today in the Watonga City Manager Minute Monday Podcast series. She also points out that community members can head down to the Watonga library today at 1:30p to watch the Solar Eclipse safely. They have approved glasses they will be handing out! This is a big event nationwide and you can watch safely at the Watonga Public Library! And did you know next week April 14th is Earth Day? All week long April 15-19th from 8a-5p Watonga will have roll offs set up at Main and Forrest along with staff members to help you discard your bulk trash. It’s time to clean up and improve your dwelling and community. Karrie Beth wanted to speak about our very own Carl King and the legacy he’s brought to our community! To thank him and honor him, the City of Watonga have announced “April 6th” as Carl King Day! Join me in thanking Carl for his efforts in raising community members to become the leaders of tomorrow. You are a treasured gift Mr. King and Watonga is honored to have you as a shining member! Remember to recycle and do your part! #BetterTogetherWatonga
