Briggs Hatton is back and we re-do the 2000 Oscars. 1999 was one of the best (and most interesting) years in film: The Matrix, Fight Club, The Insider, Green Mile, Phantom Menace, American Pie, South Park, Green Mile, Election, Being John Malkovich, Topsy Turvy, Galaxy Quest, and also The Cider House Rules. Will American Beauty win Best Picture again? Listen to find out as we go through Adapted Screenplay, Original Screenplay, Supporting Actor and Actress, Actor and Actress, Director, and of course Best Film. We have to agree to award each winner so it gets strategic. We did a better job than the Academy.
