Episode 5: How climate change impacts socially disadvantaged groups in the WASH sector

Climate change is impacting lives in the countries where the WASH SDG Consortium works, and going forward: the ways in which climate change will impact WASH services will continue to increase. These impacts will not be felt equally, and the burden of climate change is not and will not be shared uniformly. How does climate change impact the lives of socially disadvantaged groups?

To answer this question, the host of this episode Anastazia Rutatina from Amref Health Africa speaks with Silvia Devina (Plan International, Indonesia), GC Krishna Hari (SNV, Nepal), Hasina Uttaran (Simavi partner Uttaran, Bangladesh). Together they'll give you a little preview of what will be discussed in the WASH SDG session during World Water Week 2022. Learn more about the session here.
