From the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, our team has been documenting testimonies and experiences of people who live in Ukraine, surviving and helping others to survive. We are translating their stories into English so that the human dimension of the war is seen and understood by people abroad.

This is the story of two students, Valeriya and Nadiya, and we recorded it in Lviv, where they came after fleeing Kharkiv. We talked with them in a former photo studio, which now is a center for women with children who are escaping from war.
