Laszlo started his Martial arts Journey in the mid-1980s in his home country of Hungary. At that time it was still under the semi-communist rule as the USSR still had sway over the area. When he was 18 he moved to Canada in a classic Immigrant story with no money, little education, and only a desire to live a better life. He eventually found the local Kyokushin community and started the hard Journey to Black Belt and later an instructor. He has built a life, and a family here but is concerned about the fact that western politics is looking a lot like the authoritarian regime he left behind.
