My Black is Valid: An American's Pursuit of her African Ancestral Heritage

My guest is Rev Dr Juanita Jolly Bulford. She is the mother of my guest Atnre Alleyne who left American to come to attend High school in Ghana. Dr Bulford talks about her experience growing up in America during the civil rights movements and racial segregation and her journey of connecting with her ancestral roots and heritage in Africa.  She also answers the burning listeners question of why she sent two of her kids to Ghana to attend High School
