as Jesus was preparing to go to the cross he asked Peter, James, John to come with him to pray and he asked them to watch and pray. they could not because the spirit was willing and the flesh was weak. how many times do we get distracted and not pay attention to what Jesus has called us to do and succumb to our flesh.
