Positionality | Power and Privilege Podcast | Episode 4
Cath Moulogo is joined by her Hub Cymru Africa colleague Faith Israel from Sub-Sahara Advisory Panel, who has been exploring the idea of positionality with Tina Ajuonuma from The Better Org and Claire O'Shea from Hub Cymru Africa. Here, Faith interviews them about their understanding of positionality, how it shapes the attitudes of individuals and organisations, and how it relates to dynamics of power and privilege within the global solidarity sector. This is part of the Hub Cymru Africa podcast series that are being recorded with support from the Welsh Government and the FCDO Small Charities Challenge Fund.   Guest biography Tina Ajuonuma is a practitioner and researcher in organisational development and behaviour with nearly 20 years’ experience in the social impact space, with experience working in Africa, Europe and North America. As the Founder and Principal Consultant at The Better Org, Tina provides strategic consulting advice to non-profit and social impact organisations within the areas of anti-racism, DEI, culture change, strategy and planning, project management, operational design and delivery, human resources, organisational learning, and impact evaluation. Tina holds an Executive MBA from Warwick University where she was awarded a distinction grade for her research on Bias in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programmes.
