Braj ka madhurya

Braj ka madhurya

Brajbhoomi is known as land of love- a place to take rest at. Braj is considered to be the short form of Brahm- raj. The overt presence of Shri Radha-Krishna premeates its every soil particle. Shri Dham vrindavan is ‘sat’ (the base) and Shri Radha Krishna denotes 'chitt' (consciousness) and ‘aanand’ (bliss) respectively. Their interrelationship can be understood through the structure of a chickpea. The internal part is one unit but appears like two (Radha Krishna) and its outer covering is Vrindavan which keeps our chitt and aanand intact. Therefore a devotee prays ‘may the divine expanse of Braj bhoomi covers the entire Globe so that love replaces all sorts of terrorism, enmity, violence etc.’
