Almighty is all capable of removing the worldly sorrows yet He suffers and enjoys like a layman following the law of causation. This teaches us that our destiny lies in our own hands but once set, it cannot be changed. All the human beings have been given the power of discretion to make the rightful choice of karma and also the intellect to adequately respond to the result thereof. Praying and calling for God's grace can strengthen but not replace our own efforts.
