As global tech competition grows, Europe must secure its own digital infrastructure to reduce reliance on foreign technology and avoid economic and security risks. Joining host Tom Parker is Christopher Fischer, Research Fellow in the Global Governance, Regulation, Innovation and Digital Economy (GRID) unit, who explores how Europe can build technological sovereignty, the challenges of fragmented innovation hubs, and the need for targeted investment to strengthen the EU’s position in the global digital landscape.
