Voice It Out Podcast with Amrita
Shyama & Amrita
40 episodes
The Voice It Out Podcast with Amrita is a platform created by two British Asian women, Shyama and Amrita. In the first season they looked into topics which were relevant to women and, in particular, British Asian women. In the second season, they attempted to prompt discussions around the split identity, and what it means to be British with a strong influence from ethnic heritage - no matter your gender. Season 3 saw Amrita going solo in front of the camera, talking to guests from different walks of life about their journeys, their mental health and also that all important influence of being part British and part of another culture. Now, scrapping the seasonal format, Amrita will continue these conversations as and when guests come on the podcast, allowing more conversations about experience, life-changing moments, and personal narratives that everone can relate to.
