Today's Scripture readings are from Leviticus 16: 1 - 18:30. After the death of Aaron's 2 sons, he carries on serving the Lord as the Cohen Hagadol (High Priest) performing the rites of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). What changed at the cross? What is the 'new and living way' by which we have access to God? What is the meaning of the two goats and how did Yeshua fulfill the role of the Azazel (Scapegoat).
Isaiah 53: "The Lord has laid on him the sins of us all." Behold the Lamb of God who carries away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
