Just got off of an appointment with a patient who never in a million years thought it was possible to eat carbs and have healthy blood sugar levels. Beginning to work with him about a year ago, he was terrified of carbohydrates, was doing whatever he could to avoid them, and his blood sugar levels were still through the roof! We made some changes together and as each month progressed in working with me, he continued to see significant results. The 11 teachings he implemented??

1. Eating vegetables & (plant) protein first

2. 15 minute walk post-meals

3. Choosing quality carbohydrates

4. Apple cider vinegar
