VisualFizz is joined by Bri Caplan, Founder of Code Your Dreams and CoderHeroes. In this event, Marissa Ryan from VisualFizz and Bri Caplan discuss: /// Trial & Error for Growth /// Challenges of running a nonprofit organization /// Lack of access to technology /// Building critical partnerships and gaining fast funding While working as a Data Scientist at a technology startup, Brianne Caplan founded "Code Your Dreams" with the mission of driving equity in computer science education and building pathways for underrepresented groups to enter into the technology sector. Brianne has since left the technology sector to focus on this mission for her nonprofit, as well as serving as the Program Director for University of Chicago’s Careers in Computer Science program. As a result of the pandemic and rising student needs, she founded CoderHeroes – the first-ever coding program for kids with a buy-one-give-one charitable model. VisualFizz, a digital marketing agency that predominantly works with 'growth stage' businesses, has been asked these questions constantly and we felt that it's time to provide you with some answers. This is why we launched the Growth Series networking event. We have asked the best and brightest to speak up and chat with us AND YOU about what they've learned through their years of GROWING their own thing and their marketing strategies for small businesses. These individuals are industry leaders, founders of notable companies, sales geniuses, event hosts and personalities, and so much more.
