Welcome to the first episode of our “The Big Thing” series! This series is composed of several short episodes recorded by our project participants from Belgium, who will provide you with a privileged insight into our project, the activities and the people who make it so special.
This series of podcast is recorded, edited and mixed by Ditmar, Jay and Youssri. A special thank you goes to them.
On this first episode, our Executive Director Anca and two of the project’s formidable trainers, Viki and Daniele, will guide you through what “the Big Thing” actually is, how the project came about, what motivated us to participate, and what impact it has had on the people working on it.
Enjoy your listening and till the next time!

”The Big Thing” is a project funded by the European Union and developed by Asociacion Arkhe (Spain) in collaboration with Zavod ODTIZ (Slovenia) and VIEWS International. This project aims to promote greater inclusion of people with disabilities in youth work and non-formal education across Europe, particularly through the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs. As part of this initiative, individuals with disabilities from Belgium, Slovenia, and Spain are taking part in a specialised training programme to become European trainers, following the ETS (European Training Strategy) competency model.
