Tadgh Hickey is a comedian; actor; writer; director; musician; painter and decorator; and according to his Facebook page he is also Michelle Smith de Bruin's ex.
I first Tadgh back in school through a mutual friend and then the next time I saw him, he was on TV singing Halleluiah at a huge Irish singing competition.
Since then he has created TV shows, acted in multiple films, written and delivered comedy gigs and appeared in loads of ads.
He didn’t waste any time during the pandemic and continued to work online throughout it and more recently his video content has exploded on social media.
In this interview, we chat about the first video he remembers uploading, how he comes up with video ideas today and how his process changed over the years, his favourite video, his most popular video, how he handles negative comments and some of the biggest lessons he has learned about creating videos over the past few years.
