Practical Application Encouragement to spend more time in prayer and Bible reading, challenging the congregation to be distinct from societal norms. Emphasis on faithfulness during difficult times, not just when it is easy or convenient. Personal testimony of how faithfulness led to spiritual growth and blessings in the speaker’s life.
