Why hello there,

Today Kari Nixon, PhD, reads Things Worth Knowing from the April 18th edition

of the London Journal from 1863

Welcome back to Victorian Periodical Parade, 160 years ago folks were still interested in everyday events, the royals, and travel. They were folks just like us coming up with reasons to do things, reasons for why things happened, and making sense of it all.

Today Kari reads through the miscellaneous articles included in the publication along with Chapters 10 and 13 of Lady Audley’s Secret.
