Do you ever find yourself doubting that it’s actually possible for ANY busy working mom to find time for “self-care”? A cycle of hurrying, meeting others' needs, rinse and repeat?! As a full time hospice physician, wife, mom to 4 young kids, I've been there and didn't know how I'd ever be able to come up for air. Through coaching (thought work), body-based/somatic tools, and lots of trial and error in real life, I am in a place of more joy, ease, and confidence. I want to share and encourage you to step into your own power as the author of your life and feel fully capable and worthy doing it.

Rediscovering Inspiration in Your Career - Conversation with Dr. Sapna Shah-Haque

I'm thrilled to bring you today’s inspiring conversation with Dr. Sapna Shah-Haque. Dr. Shah-Haque is a board-certified internal medicine physician, born and raised in Kansas, who completed her residency at KU Wichita. Like many of us in medicine, she experienced clinical burnout and witnessed it affecting her colleagues, which led her on a journey to better understand—and ultimately speak out about—the unique challenges of burnout for women in medicine.

In our talk, Dr. Shah-Haque shares her wisdom and warmth, offering real insights into how we can stay connected to our passion for medicine, even when faced with burnout. We discuss the importance of feeling heard, the power of sharing our stories, and how to rediscover inspiration and self-worth amidst the pressures of being working moms and physicians.

I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did. Dr. Shah-Haque's perspective is both grounding and uplifting, and her insights remind us that we’re not alone on this path. Don’t forget to check out her website for more resources and to follow her impactful work.
