Consulting Case Prep with USC Marshall MBA Student: LEK Market Entry Case Practice

Listen to a consulting case interview practice with USC Marshall MBA student, Ethan Tseng. In this podcast, I record the entire case interview, including the pauses, the brainstorming, and also the ending conclusions and notes to show you what a real case practice interview sounds like.

Here are 3 takeaways from the case:

1. Take your time to analyze your exhibits. And when transferring over numbers to your working papers, be sure to copy over them right. It can be easy to make a mistake in the time crunch of the interview.

2. Do the case math right and double-check it. After getting to a number, always ask yourself "so what?".

3. Frame the interview as a conversation. In this case, Ethan is a professional within strategy and operations - he leaned into his skill set and was able to be much smoother and more conversational within the case.
