Black Dave is the mastermind & head organizer of Amethyst ,where 50 talented artists of South Carolina spent 2 days recording a collaborative project with South Carolina producers. The vision was to see unity amongst talented South Carolina artists. According to Charleston City Paper, The Amethyst project was inspired J. Cole & Dreamville’s collaborative project “Revenge of The Dreamers III” & Kris Kaylin’s video series called “Next Up Charleston” Black Dave goes into great detail sharing the process of bringing together a team of organizers, choosing artists & producers & more.  He practically laid out the game for anyone who would love to organize a collaborative project & replicate what he was able to do!
