Episode 7_Of Schools and Mental Health

10th October is celebrated as the World Mental Health Day to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world, and lately it has become more important to talk about it.

Mental health problems in students have been on the rise since Covid-19. In this episode, we are going to talk about what are some things students struggle with, how can they acknowledge these challenges and get help, how did Covid affect students when they did not have schools as a safe space for them outside of home, what we can do to normalize mental health amongst others and what are some practices students should follow to prioritize their mental health.

Tune in to answer these questions with our guest speaker, Rashi Bhatia, a school counselor and special educator working with 3 schools. She holds a degree in theatre, English and Psychology and has previously worked as a behavior and creative therapist for students.

Don’t forget to listen to the career section to know how you can pursue psychology and work with different mental health issues.
