Dr. Elton Skendaj , born in a small town in Vlora , Albania goes after his ambitious of creating a more just and peaceful world and through education and smart work becomes the Director of the Democracy and Governance M.A. program at Georgetown University! His research concentrates on reinforcing democratic institutions, public engagement, rule of law, anti-corruption measures, and nonviolent conflict resolution.
