Inmates across these jails danced along the rhythm of songs, prayers, raginis and signature tunes. At least 47 talented inmates, in 7 out of 19 jails in Haryana and Dehradun Jail in Uttarakhand, received special training under Tinka Tinka’s prison radio project. The inmates have now turned into lyricists, singers, composers and radio jockeys, contributing to the release of 6 beautiful musical compositions over the year 2021.   This new year, Tinka Tinka salutes the efforts of Sheru, Jitendra, Kashish, the inmates of District Jail, Karnal, and District Jail, Dehradun, in cultivating hope through musical renditions behind the bars. Tinka Tinka also extends its immense gratitude to jail officials, staff and administrators for their support and encouragement in this glorious endeavor.
