Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta will talk about how her poems begin and end.  She will also read excerpts from her upcoming book, “Burning Houses & Hush Harbor,” from the UST Publishing House.

Mookie Katigbak-Lacuesta won the Philippines Free Press Award for Poetry in 2007 and the Carlos Palanca Memorial Award for Poetry in 2014.  She has four poetry collections under name—“The Proxy Eros,” published in 2008, “Burning Houses” in 2013, “Hush Harbor” in 2017, “Eros Redux” in 2019, and the recently released “College Boy.”
