Disclosing an STD status to an African Man | STD AWARENESS | DATING AFRICAN MEN
1. Don't date with low-self esteem. Watch videos on building your self-esteem and you need to be emotionally healthy and know your worth. If not, you make yourself vulnerable to the wrong man. If you think that no one will want you and don't have the confidence ...user men will pick up on that. I remember seeing a man in one of the many groups I am in, openly state that he is looking for a woman with Xyz butterfly and that he was negative. He received a lot of comments questioning why he was truly there. What were his motives? There are men out there that will still pretend to accept you and use you because it is easy to take advantage of someone who thinks that they are worthless. A good amount of women with butterflies find it hard to leave abusive relationships in fear that no one will want them. This is why it is important to love you and know your worth so that you can leave any guy who accepted you but is treating you like crap. I will make a video soon about loving yourself.

You also need to be able to keep it popping if a man rejects you. If you have to wipe tears then do it but understand that the butterfly in your life doesn't define you. Consider forming a roster of potential dates. I talk more about how to build one in my Facebook group.

2. Finding a man with the same thing.

You can find someone with the same butterfly by Googling dating websites that match your condition. Here's an example "dating with HIV" or "dating with Herpes". A lot of websites will pop up such as PositiveSingles.com or personals.poz.com . You can also participate in awareness events through the following websites and meet people https://www.hiv.gov/events https://hwerks.com/national-herpes-events/ http://www.hepbunited.org/advocacy/events/ https://www.nccc-online.org/local-chapters/nccc-events/
