Sade schaffte es, auch nach längeren Pausen die Spannung zu halten: wie wird ihre neue Musik klingen? Die prägende 80er Jahre – Instrumentierung änderte sich behutsam, Sade sang noch genauso leidenschaftlich und warm von Liebe und Verlust, von Beobachtungen und schweren Schicksalen. Jedem der selten veröffentlichten Alben folgte eine umjubelte Welttournee, dennoch suchten sich ihre Mitmusiker schon Nebenprojekte, um nicht immer nur zu warten. Nach langer Pause erschien 2010 das Album „Soldier Of Love“, wieder hochgelobt und von ihren Fans gefeiert. Erst 2024 sollte noch ein einzelnes Lied „Young Lion“ erscheinen. Sade wahrt stets ihr Geheimnis und ihre künstlerische Integrität, auch deshalb bleibt ihre Musik ein Ereignis.
