Gaylyn, an Inflammatory Bowel Disease and ostomy advocate, was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at only 14 years old. Initially, her family thought it was anything but an IBD, but once it was clear something serious was wrong, they rallied around her. Today, Gaylyn is an IBD Social Circle partner. She discusses the importance of IBD representation and awareness in the Black community. Gaylyn also talks about normalizing and being a model with an ostomy bag.
