On Feb 1, 2005, the then King of Nepal, Gyanendra staged a coup d'etat, deposing an elected government and imposing his direct rule. I was working in the BBC Studios at Bush House in London for the Nepali service. This audio is a partial recording of the Nepali service's broadcast on that day.
