Swarnabha Gupta is a Guitarist/Music Producer/Sitar Player based in Pune, Maharashtra. Born and brought up in Kolkata, Swarnabha was initiated into Indian Classical Music at the age of 5 by guru Shree Anil Baran Kar of the Maihar Gharana, and has been training ever since, presently under the guidance of Sitar Maestro Subhranil Sarkar of the Etawah Gharana. Always fascinated by the heavier genres of music, Swarnabha started playing guitar at the age of 10, and has been experimenting with blending eastern and western genres of music for quite some years. He is a founding member of Progressive Rock/Heavy Metal band ShredxXx and Hindi Rock band Riyaz. Swarnabha is also a musical content developer for Ubisoft and has worked in various feature films, web series, and both major label and indie songs as a freelancing session artist and/or music producer.
