Douglass Community Services began in Hannibal in 1969 as an organization that was focused to address systemic issues around prejudice and poverty. Today the organization is still providing critical services for people in the community while also working on initiatives focused on addressing root causes of systemic issues. New this month will be the organization opening their new building which will be a tool to continue their mission of building strong kids, strong families, and a strong community. On this month’s episode we sat down with Stephanie Cooper, CEO to discuss their organization’s work.
