Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia, Missouri (UUCC) is a liberal religious voice lighting a moral beacon in Central Missouri. In the spirit of courageous love, we forge a community of radical welcome and deep connection that moves us together to heal the world.
Our podcasts feature our Minister, the Rev. Molly Housh Gordon, as well as a variety of lay leaders who help carry out the ministries of our church.
UUCC transforms lives by calling us to deeper connection, service, and spiritual exploration within an uplifting community of diverse beliefs; lights a moral beacon for Columbia and Missouri by creating intentional welcome, relational solidarity, and compassionate action in response to injustices; grows in environmental consciousness and advocates for the health of the earth and all living things; and engages our intergenerational community in faith development and lifelong learning with a spirit of curiosity and openness.
We are a community of many beliefs, identities, and experiences, seeking to create an ever wider circle of welcome and love. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and wherever you are on life’s journey you are welcome here. Our congregation includes gay, straight, transgendered and questioning people, as well as people who arrived here by short, and long paths.

Sunday, April 19, 2020, was the sixth Sunday of our online worship in compliance with guidelines for social distancing during the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. We remembered the beauty of the earth as well as its impermanence by creating a nature mandala with beautiful bits of spring. Rev. Molly’s homily was “Lessons from the Flowers.”
