Pastor Tim wrapped up his series on the Book of Ephesians today. Receive powerful encouragement to be strengthened in the Lord Jesus Christ.
When Paul wrote to the Ephesian church (and to us) one of the things he emphasized was living what we believe. We have to walk it out.
Pastor Tim continues his series on the book of Ephesians. Today's focus is chapter 4, "put on the new self.
Pastor Miguel Alban preached a message entitled "The Benefits of Asking." His message was not materialistic; it was spiritual. He related our growth in Christ to being made like Jesus. He said to be a Christian is to be Christlike. Ask for Wisdom. Ask to become more kind. Ask for the virtues of our Lord to become active in your life.
Pastor Carl Vincent returned today as our guest preacher. Please listen as he shares important keys for believers from the Book of Colossians. You will find them useful for navigating today's culture.
The 2025 Deep Branch Tent Meeting welcomed veteran pastor Carl Vincent on the second night. He delivered a powerful message rooted in Revelation 3: 8, " 'I know your deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. "
Deep Branch Ministries welcomes you to the first message from our 2025 Tent Meeting that took place September 12 and 13 at Deep Branch Family Campground. This is a message by Pastor John Betts of Abundant Life Church in Georgetown, DE, "Say Yes Again."
Pastor Tim preaches the truths from Paul's letter to the Ephesians. Truly they still speak to us today. Being in Christ changes our identity.
Disqualified. . . . Have you ever felt disqualified from serving Jesus because of past mistakes. Guest Speaker Liz DeFrain encouraged us to leave the shadows behind that have kept us back from walking in our purpose.
Guest speaker Liz DeFrain addressed the errors of living without a thought toward the next generation. She highlighted King Hezekiah's near-sighted perspective on the sin of pride where he showed off his treasures to an enemy nation. This brought about a judgment that would fall on future generations. The king's response was not repentance nor intercession but acquiescence simply because it didn't fall upon him. Liz strongly encouraged us to live with the motive of raising up the next generations to be strong in the Lord.
Did you know that at one time, all of us were under God's wrath? That wrath was poured out on Jesus, God's Son, so that we might be saved from God's wrath. In His immeasurable love He sent His Son to rescue us from sin's judgment. Through Jesus we are saved from that impending wrath.
Paul's letter to the Ephesians sets a powerful image of what it looks like to know and walk in the identity Jesus gives us. Listen as Pastor Tim preaches the revelation of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures that compel us to walk in what He has accomplished for us.
Paul prayed for the Ephesians "to know the love that surpasses knowledge." How can one "know" something that surpasses knowledge? This sounds unknowable, but the Lord makes it possible through His Holy Spirit. Pastor Tim expounds upon the prayers of Paul and how when we hunger for more of Him, He brings us closer than we thought possible.
After all that Moses saw in his experiences with God, he still hungered for more of God, "Show me Your glory." Are we hungering for more of Him. God, please show us Your glory.
How grateful we are that God loves to bring prodigals home! What a joy to hear the testimony of Will Jones!

Pastor Tim recalls the account from Exodus where Moses sought to meet alone with God in a tent pitched outside of the camp. We each need our own tent of meeting, a special time and place where we come to encounter Him and to hear what He would say to us.
It's our fleshly nature that wants to be in charge, but we learn in from Jesus that we are not the Vinedresser. God is the Vinedresser. John recorded the words of Jesus who taught us that we are the branches, and our job is to abide in the Vine, Jesus. God is the One who tends the Vineyard.
Live the life God has planned for you! Live holy. Live a fruit filled life! Then be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Tim brought an inspiring message today on what it looks like to be full of the Holy Spirit, giving several challenging Biblical examples.
Let's be honest with ourselves and with God: are we full or unfull of His Holy Spirit?
