HELLLLO!!! a lil solo ep today where I am talking ALL things opinions of others: how to deal with them, how to distinguish between others and your own, how to trust your GUT and back yourself more and ALL the rest! In a world of social media where we are constantly exposed to trends, comments from random people as well as friends and family, it can be hard to actually live life authentically to you and your values without the interuptions of someone else's. I hope this helps guide you in finding your true self and how to deal with all of this! let me know what you think!!
we look at:
- fashion trends
- transition periods
- imitation from a young age
- feeling a sense of 'belonging' but abandoning yourself in the process
- over sharing
- change in yourself and letting people go
- criticism - both constructive and negative
- who to seek advice from and when
- identifying between your gut and the opinion of others

Today I have the fitness mastermind and friend Xander Connabeer on with me to discuss ALL things glute gains and strength training. We cover a RANGE of topics including body image, mental health, training and how to get the MOST out of your gym sessions with a little Q&A at the end!
this is no hate on makeup! I jut find the concept FASCINATING and a year ago I realised how unhealthy my relationship was with it. I relied on it, used it to 'cover up' rather than enhance, and got into a cycle where I would NEVER show my natural self
now, down the line, I'm in a place where I love my natural self the same if not more than my made up self, and talk about how I ended up here :)
all the love,
Liv xxx
Today I have my wonderful friend and body positive fitness influencer @elmint on to talk all things vulnerability online and being exposed to the opinions of others - something we BOTH face a lot of in our jobs! This ep was the second time we met and now we have been away together and created such a close friendship it's so sweet to listen back to hahah - we don't stop laughing and nothing has changed
s2 ep1 - HEY IT'S BEEN A WHILE BUT WE ARE BACK! New podcast season, more self love, self awareness, and raw conversations. This was a big reflection on my trip to Bali, solo travelling and how I'm learning to fall in love with my own company.
ep12- you may be an HSP and not even know it! In this podcast I learn about being a sensitive person, why it is a STRENGTH and not something to try and ignore, how to truly embrace it and use it to your advantage, and the crossovers it has with some other traits which you may have never considered before. You are never too much and hopefully if that's something you've been told before, then this podcast should make you feel less alone x
Sending lots of love to you all!
Liv (@liv_livin_life__) x
ep 11- Hello!
I went home for Christmas and took it as the opportunity to squeeze in a podcast episode with my sister! This was honestly like a therapy session for the two of us and we speak about a lot of stuff we haven't even spoken about to one another before. A slightly longer ep but I hope it provides some insight as we address a lot of interesting topics, a lot covering mental health and how we both became so different despite living under the same roof, to where we are today!
topics we cover:
- childhood experiences shaping who we are today
- the older vs. younger sister dynamic
- dealing with an eating disorder as a family
- how we stay close now we live apart
- growing up with opposing personalities
- 'nature v nurture'
- addressing mental health within the family
- therapy, anxiety
- how to open up
- coming into our own
All the love as always,
Liv xxx
p.s. apologies to how much i laugh at the beginning lmao
ep10- NOT a 'new year new me' but more of a reflection on the past year, what I have learnt from it all, and what I am taking from that and bringing with me into the new year. This is just a little insight into my journal prompts, how I've set out my goals, and a lil activity for you guys to do too. We grow from the tough situations, not the positive ones, so settle down with your journal or just to have a listen whilst you're on your morning walk and use it to think about in the context of your past year too!
Lotsa love and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you're all having a lovely fun run up to Christmas and as always thank you all for your support <3 will do another one of these episodes soon!
All the loveeeee,

ep8- in light of the last week of men's mental health awareness month, I am joined by my first guest (!!) Johnny Morillo (also known as @johnnymeatless on instagram) to discuss all things from male friendships, dealing with a job in social media, male body image, how to be supportive as a friend, toxic masculinity, and we answer your questions too!
75% of deaths by suicide are men, and it's more important than ever that we break the stigma and create an environment where mental health issues and struggles are openly spoken about.
If you have a friend that you think may be struggling, trust your instinct and check in with them, and if you are struggling yourself, please speak to someone and check out these resources below:

ep7- woooh and just like that it's nearly December and it literally feels like -20 degrees out in London. The days are getting a bit shorter and the mornings a lil colder, making getting out of bed that bit harder, and i find general motivation to just just day to day 'stuff' tends to be lacking that bit more. So, I've been making a conscious effort to turn this change of season into one big positive, and I'm sharing with you a few of my tips on how I am staying motivated this winter and turning it into a time to not only be productive within work and towards my goals, but also taking it as an opportunity to perhaps embrace my slightly more 'introverted' side (within limits) and really focus on myself <3
Let me know if you have any other thoughts and I can't wait to see what you all think of this one!

ep5- this week it's ALLL about romantic relationships in your 20s. Your 20s are a time of change where it's hard to juggle everything so how the HELL do you manage a relationship too??? I have learnt a LOT from relationships, both past and present and use my own advice to help answer your questions and address the big topics people often face when in a relationship in their 20s:
- balancing relationships with friends
- co-dependency
- growth within a relationships
- how do you know you are 'ready' for a relationship in this time
- tips to a healthy relationship
- communication within relationships
- how to do long distance
- the idea of 'the one' / pressure of the future
Alrighty love ya loads would love to hear your opinions on all of this!!! Don't forget to follow and follow the insta! Liv xxx
OKKKKK, we know I love a good dating/relationship chat and this one is for navigating single life in your 20s. This podcast is on dating, the next will be on relationships in your 20s as there was SO much to cover. In this podcast, I reflect on the times I have been single in my 20s, and how I navigated being fully on my own. In your 20s, there can be a huge pressure to settle down with someone, and the fear of being 'single forever', when in reality this is the time to fully embrace having nothing to tie you down, the ability to be completely selfish and also realise what you NEED and WANT in a person!
I talk all about what I learnt, the mental growth and how I made it, bad dates, whether the 'ick' is really a thing (had to be addressed), dating apps, how to meet people, and realising your self worth within the era of 'flings' and 'being exclusive' etc. I also address a lot of your questions/ dating scenarios throughout :)
Hope you guys enjoy and don't forget to follow the insta: @un_filteredwithliv and @liv_livin_life__
Would love to hear your thoughts and stories on this topic so DM me there! <3
ep3 - being in your 20s can be HARD. We're told that 'these are our times' when in reality we are still trying to work out who we are, what we want, have a successful career, go to the gym consistently, be social, stay in touch with old friends but also make new ones all at once. This is going to be a 3 part mini series as there is SO much to unpack, but this is an overview of the feelings and stresses you may to be dealing with at this stage in life, and how to handle them.
Topics I discuss:
ep2 - ah, my FAVOURITE most complex topic, which even I am still trying to work out myself: body image. We all have our struggles with it, as we as humans are our own worst self-critics. In this episode I open up about my own relationship with body image, where I am at now, what I have learnt on my own journey of self-acceptance, and give lots of tips which helped me get to a much better place with how I see and treat myself.
Topics I cover:
WOW, welcome to my first ever episode! In this one, I get straight to it. I get deep, go into my past, explore why my upbringing has made me the person I am now, and by doing this I open up discussions around how certain experiences we went through as children, no matter how small, can determine the way we behave in society, friendships, and relationships today.
We listen to other people’s pasts to learn more about our own, so get cosy, get out your journal, or just zone out of busy city life on your journey to work, and have a listen
