Mnangagwa, the Minister of Defence, moved his pieces. First, he accelerated changes in the army by appointing Constantino Chiwenga as Commander—the man who later led a coup to elect Mnangagwa President. Later, he installed Isaac Moyo to change the face of the CIO.

But now Isaac has been fired. The question is why.
