we all feel the pressure of life. some feel it all of the time, and for others, it’s a passing feeling. I am here to tell you that it is okay to not be okay. it is okay if the weight of the world gets too heavy. I get it. let’s talk about it. let’s talk about the things that make us feel. grab some fresh coffee and have a seat. put the world down for a bit. there is no pressure here.

in this episode, I dive into the experience that I had graduating college (virtually) during the COVID-19 pandemic, changing course from pre-med to creative, and how i deal with the opinions of other people (including my own). I decided not to apply to medical school because of the perspective that i gained during quarantine. i felt completely overwhelmed by the structure of society and the idea of spending my twenties getting a degree and working 24/7. i have also always had a deep desire to be a writer, and it surfaced when Covid forced me to slow down and reflect. after graduation i realized that i was kind of in a trance for my entire life up until now: like school had been occupying the parts of my brain that craved to be seen/heard. join me as i discuss/rant about all things post-graduation. grab some coffee for this one. enjoy.
