Kaliʻa Wasson is a Native Hawaiian designer, dancer and co-founder of Hawaii Swim Show. Originally from Hilo, she danced professionally before starting her swimwear line "Leimakani Swimwear", an all-inclusive brand rooted in Hawaiian culture. She was featured in Sports Illustrated Swim and became the first Native Hawaiian designer invited to Miami Swim Week. That bucket-list experience inspired her to start Hawaii Swim Show and this week kicks off its 3rd year and first time on O'ahu. In this episode we talk about her humble beginnings as the oldest of 7 girls, her journey of self-discovery and the best part of Hawaii Swim Show. Enjoy!
