
Libraries face high licensing fees to hold some copies of leased digital content. This includes ebook and audiobook formats for us patrons to consume “for free”. Kristin and Bobbi discuss that very real cost and some of the impact it can have on financials and time for different library districts. We also want to understand if we truly own our digital copies and if we can donate them when we die.
